Reaching Chile by air

A number of international airlines fly to Santiago - Chile from all five continents, direct or through connections. Please contact your travel agent for flights information, schedules and reservations.

Reaching Balmaceda by air

Lan, the largest chilean airline and member of Oneworld Alliance, as well as two other domestic airlines, flies daily from Santiago and Puerto Montt into Balmaceda, the closest airline operated airport to the Lodge.

Reaching the Lodge by land

The Patagonia Baker Lodge is located on the banks of the Río Baker, 3 Km South of Puerto Bertrand.
It is a 4 1/2 hour drive from the city of Coyhaique or from Balmaceda, heading South via the Carretera Austral. A wonderful trip between mountains, rivers, lakes and ancient forests. The Lodge's vehicles service this trip regularly, being car rental in Coyhaique or Balmaceda also an alternative.

Reaching the Lodge by air

Patagonia Baker Lodge can make arrangements with private air companies that operate in the area. They provide transportation for up to seven passengers per plane, in double-engine planes. They fly from Coyhaique or Balmaceda to an paved airfield, with control tower, not far from the Lodge.
It's a 40 minute flight that gives the passengers the chance for low altitude sightseeing of the breathtaking Patagonian landscape.
